semifun night last night ferry and nick rocked i was really surprised with ferry's set he was blending a lot of new trance into well into set which i saw him on the decline do and play alot more of his trancy-electroish sound.. the only problem we all had was the heat i think it could get really dangerous for people in there i'm glad circus runs the cold water taps cold
nick pilon: you know you rocked our asses, it was the first time ive sat down and critiqued your stuff and you were dropping bomb after bomb hehe i can honestly say my gf ended up sitting when ferry got on because she danced so hard, respect dude.
ferry; top 3 set from him in terms of tracks, i got use to ferry not playing unreleased /uptodate stuff.. he even dropped rush hour.
lastly; just for everybody's info the few times the sound cut out wasn't ferry's fault, the cdj actually overheated twice.. anybody who owns/use one know theres a simple metal heatsink at the back and if you were behind the dj booth or in the heat there was the worst in the building;(

haha awesome night! however, getting fit-shaced at time was a less than ideal plan we still rocked it out.
i would like to say that i'm fully exfoliated after that steam room session!
ferry ROCKS. i love how he just cut into LEF mid song than combined the two at the end!!
full review to come!
i heart montreal!

Amazing Night !!!!!
Nick Pilon & Ferry rocked the places !!!
solid night...holy FUCK the heat was godamn disgusting...you could barely even breathe on that dancefloor.
ferry fkin rocked the place hard, i really enjoyed his set. i was impressed, he really didn't cheese it up very much. no rock your body rock, no fire mostly just quality hard electroish beats. he was playing verrrry housy at certain points, it was fkin awesome.
wasn't really feeling nick's set for some reason, where were the big banging hard beats he usually plays? i found it too slow.
good to see bertuzz and selma!
hope everyone enjoyed themselves.

So this was a really nice break from visits i pay at Stereo. Awesome venue and gorgeous ladies. I think i'd have to agree with everyone else here, the heat was just retarded. I oretty much had to stay near the back of the room becuase the heat up front was disgusting. I was up behind the booth seeing them deal with this cdj situation, I was really surprised they had no cooling pads for the equipment. So even though im not the biggest Ferry fan his set was pretty solid. Not too many vocals and not too much "hands up in the air" trance. I'd admit his electro-ish trance style is pretty decent. Didn't get to meet many TA's but it was a pleasure meeting Enigmatik .... I think i'll think twice about going to Stereo again...

Awright so I think overall ferrys set was strong, consistent and really dancable in his typical bassy-tube electro style, even the opener and closer djs were not bad.. some interesting track choices by them, I requested Breakfast - The Storm and ferry played it a few mins later which was cool, that track really slaps, broke a bone or 2 when it came on
The club had problems for the reasons already mentioned above.. the heat around 3-6 was insane so I can see how ppl could get totally turned off by that, didin't seem like those giant fans were helping that much either except for the odd people standing in front of them hogging the wind lol, also the bathroom floors were dangerously slippery, hopefully no one got hurt.

Fun night with everyone.....Ferry set's was good when compared to the tracklist from T.O and this shit he was playing from a few months ago
Mixing like always is top notch, nice seeing everyone that was there, and meeting new people, like everyone said it was absolutely disgustingly hot in there, they reallllly need to do something about the heat (i know it was really hot outside, but still)
I like seeing Ferry cause his style of music is fun and interacting, not just the same uplifting shit the whole set, he played some old tunes that were good to hear, some that i wanted to shoot myself, oh well
never thought that you would leave during Ferry's set Selma hahaha teasing!
