Wallmount for KRK RP8

I just ordered a pair of RP8s on Friday, and as I'm sitting here thinking, I think to myself "shit, I have no where to put these." I've always wanted a nice wallmount system, and I think it'd look great w/ my new HDTV in the center of them. I remember maybe 4-5 months ago someone posted a picture of their setup w/ RP8s on wallmounts, but I can't be arsed to look through 400 pages of a thread. Anyone have any clue what I'm talking about, or where I can get wallmounts for something as heavy as the RP8s?

what a great idea. I've been considering this as well for my monitors. Monitor stands generally are sized to be at sitting height for production, so I'm looking for an alternative as well. Perhaps a spacetek universal wall mount?? Anyone?

they will have to be secured VERY well, active monitors are incredibly heavy compared to standard hifi speakers which most consumer speaker wallmounts are designed for.

Im guessing you could use LCD/Plasma wall mounts then instead, but they tend to run a fairly high price for what your getting.

I checked the specs...
Shipping Weight: 30 lbs (15 Kg)

I think you should be fine but I would just be worried about the bass slowly shaking things loose over time if its setup on a TV bracket.
But then again, I have no clue when it comes to these kind of things.

I know this is off topic but while checking those specs I realised stanton and KRK are under the same company, I never knew that!

Wonder if that means the Stanton monitors might come from the same factory? Thatd be a good sign

hmm i guess wall mounts are out for my behringer truths then...i have a pair of the active flagship models...each monitor is 32lbs alone. that said, does anyone know of any good height-adjustable monitor stands? the only thing is standard monitor stands (between 9-10" square tops) do not fit larger monitors such as these and require a larger square tops so the lip contains the monitor. I called behringer USA previously to see if they had any recommendations but they couldn't give me a straight answer. Additionally the people at Guitar Center in Binghamton NY had no clue so maybe some TA's can help out here?

I have KRK RP8s.

I wall mounted them.

I used these:

In addition you can swing them around to suit.

They can support the wieght, but you need to make sure you secure them to something solid. I had to drill through the plaster into the masonry with 10 inch bad boy heavy duty screws.

I ended up taking them down in the end cos they looked shit.

i think monitor stands in general are fucking expensive (when compared to the price of the speakers). i've been looking a bit for some stands for my monitors, but the cheapest i've found is like 100€ a piece.
