nah bruising is caused by any blood vessel leaking blood under the skin.
i get em sometimes on my biceps just from lifting heavy boxes at work. i figure the muscle action forces blood around and the pressure of the box stops it from going anywhere and something breaks.
Does bruising have to be caused by an impact? Say knocking my arm against a table...
I keep getting bruises on my biceps...quite yellowly brown rather than black...any ideas?
Oh and they stay visible when I roll a glass over them.
If it's rash that doesn't fade under pressure, it could be meningitis. Bruising I'm not too sure about though.

There's a word that sums up this sort of behaviour, and that word is 'reject.'

Google it. But I think it's if it doesn't disappear. If you're unsure, go up to A&E or ring NHS Direct.

i get them a lot too. are you doing a lot of physical activity? you don't need too much pressure against the bicep muscle to create a yellowish bruise, as long as it's a concentrated pressure. i get them often when i grapple with my sparring buddies, just the pressure of a finger clutched on your arm, pulling you, can cause a bruise. i look like i've been beaten to shit after a few rounds of grappling that really didn't cause any pain at all.
