250GB HDD
2 LCD Samsung 19' or 21'
M-audio audiophile 24/96 ( i have it already )
---------------------
Speakers

Esi near 05 - ( i have them already )
-----------------
Midi controller

CME UF5
-----------------
Software

Cubase SX 3 + REFX nexus, atmosphere, v-station, vanguard, z3ta and something else....

------------------

What do you think about this setup ?

If you get all of those, I think you're pretty set. Those are some wicked VSTs.

Nic wiecej nie potrzebujesz - You don't need anything alse..

Well, a second hard drive for recording would be nice, and a sampler of some sort. Other than that it's plenty to make tunes..

thats a nice setup. Try to get a Hard Drive with a Fast RPM 7200 or better and 16 MB Cache.

Also go with the 21 inch over the 19 inch monitors. I have a 19 and 15 inch rite now and wish i had a 2nd bigger one stead of the 15 inch. So I think im gonna upgrade to 19 and 21'.

Or get two 17/19" TFT. You can get a decent dell 17" for about £150 which is £300 for 2 x 17" flat screens.

You may need a drum sample player like Battery - though Computermusic the mag have a free sampler and drum sampler player i think.

Get an e6600 instead of the e4300, and scratch Nexus and Vanguard from your list.
With V-Station, Atmosphere and z3ta+ you'll have more than enough.
If you feel like you need more synths then consider one of the freeware ones. Like Synth1 or KarmaFX.

Thank you all for the reply.

Eldritch : Well... I'd like to buy e6600, but it's a little bit expensive than e4400. This is the only reason i've chosen e4400

MoBreakz : I'll think about faster Hard drive, and Bigger Monitors

DJDIRTY : Pozdrawiam.

I'll refresh this topic after i'll buy something from the list

See you later.

The e6600 is worth it, trust me. You need as much CPU as possible for the VSTis. You don't want to be freezing the VSTis all the time do you?
I suggest you hold off on buying alot of VSTis at once, get a few first, learn how to use them, and then see if you actually need any more. I suggest you start off with z3ta, Atmosphere and Battery (Or some other sampler). I assume you don't own any of these VSTis already, correct?

I agree, Nexus or Atmosphere. Not both. It's just wasted money, in my opinion.
It's better to know a few select synths well, rather than to have lots of them.
I'm glad I started producing in Reason (It only has two synths).
I think I would have gotten lost in Cubase with all the VSTis.
