Anyone with a mac use a firewire 410. I've read a TON of stuff on the internet saying they are super bad with macs.

first off, you'll get a better response posting this in the production forum. however i do also have a mac (macbook pro) and a FW 410 and have never been able to get the damn thing to work without popping and clicking all over the place. I've tried different sample rates and buffers and all that and no matter what it just sounds like shit. i always thought it was a problem with the unit since i bought it open box, but i guess it might just be a problem with m-audio's core audio driver.
my next interface will be a motu and hopefully that will give better results.

I was also completely fucked by this for having not done my homework - now I'm stuck with an utterly useless piece of gear.
Started with clicks and such, ended in the entire unit just not working on the mac - nothing at all.
Pro Tip: Do your homework, kids. Otherwise you might end up like me, and no one wants to see that

Never got mine to work, took it back, got a Mbox 2 Mini. Best decision I ever made.....plug and play!
