Out of curiosity, why do these tracks have identical vocals?

freefall skydive was mid-late 90s and released a few times. did very well & Had some great remixes (like the mara one)

basically jan did some stuff with cg & they added the i feel wonderful lyrics originally to their bilingual song, then made another mix of it altogether

This track produced by the Amnesia Brothers feat Jennifer Rene there are some parts that she sounds like Jes Brieden.

Yeah, but I'm asking why are very identical vocals used in two different tracks?
I suppose guys from Cosmic Gate knew about Skydive, so why did they reuse the vocals?

Because it was originally a mash up.

As Freefall - Skydive has been my all time favourite song since before I even knew what trance was, I find Cosmic Gate's version to be a complete abomination.

It makes my blood boil every time I hear it.

+1. Skydive is such an amazing song. The Cosmic Gate treatment is about the last thing it needed IMO.
