recently got a pioneer djm-800 mixer and was wondering if anyone who has used one or owns one has had this problem:
when activating a sound color effect and/or a beat effect I get a fairly noticeable click/pop/skip in the audio. It's very irritating, and was wondering if anyone else has noticed it.
Now, I'm still in the process of getting monitors, so my listening is done through the headphones. I think I read someone else had this problem but it was only when in cue, and not audible through the master.
But, I was curious, if this is something that should be an issue at all.
well, regardless of whether or not it affects the master, I do a lot of mixing with my headphones on, and its really annoying to hear that skip when activating effects while listening to the channels in the phones.
Basically, what's really irritating to me, is a product like this that costs as much as it does shouldn't have a this kind of fault.
It really makes no difference. You'll get over it.
In time you'll realise what an awesome mixer this is and you'll realise that this small feature pales into insignificance.
