where do most people get their tracks from????
Before i get the barrage of "we dont speak of mp3's" lectures, i will ask u this.
Where do most of you get your tracks from? i always find it difficult to find trance/techno tracks on kazaaa and when i do the bandwith is normally so poor it would take days to dl.
Now i can udnerstand how some people might be against mp3s and the effect is has on the recording labels etc, but as far as im corcerned, im not going to CD store and buying a 30 buck CD just for 1 track i wanna listen to. (im not a fcukn idiot)
If i like a DJ i pay money to see him perform live or maybe even buy the CD as a show of support.
And without the access to mp3s i probably would never have gotten into EDM due to the nill playtime it gets on radios and videomusic shows.

I'm not against mp3s, but talking about them on a public forum is simply foolish in today's climate. Hence we don't. I agree that paying 30 bucks for a CD with only one good track on it is silly -- I don't do that either. However, that's a bit of a lame excuse since there are loads of excellent CDs worth every penny of their sticker price.

I gets 'em from teh internet!
I have my special ways.
As I'm sure you've noticed, bringing up mp3s and/or filesharing on here is a big no-no, and it will illicit all sorts of witty sarcast remarks from the stupid queens on this forum. Eventually after a page or so of people calling you a "stupid noob" or the like, and some occasional mp3 legality/ethics tyrades, our friendly mod Wicked Neo will happen upon this thread and close it.
Good day sir.
When I had Kazaa(and high speed internet)on my pc, I was able to build a libriary of about 40 cds of a variety of EDM. Now that I don't have Kazaa(and high speed internet)anymore, I am sometimes force to buy certain cds just for one song. I'm not about to go and buy a damn vinyl! I'm no dj! I need music I can listen to in my car and in my home stereo.

Kazaa is a big steaming pile of lame, and it always has been. At least, as far as being able to download quality files.
If you want trance, buy it. Or, at least if you're going to download it, have the common sense to find out how to do it on your own. It's not like it's that hard. There are MUCH more reliable services out there than Kazaa.

yeah the only reason i dont buy alot of compilation CDs is because you dont really get to try b4 u buy. Mp3s u dl, more than half are fairly shit and no big loss coz u just delete.
I see alot of people testing vinyl but they dont really offer that for the CDS
