[Crunchy Minimal] DJ Alfi - Crazy Pills

Hey,

Made this track a couple of months ago, got it played out by some local dj's with very good response from the crowd.
What I'm wondering is what you guys think about it.

It's the only track on my myspace site:
http://www.myspace.com/djalfi

Thanks in advance

This sounds really great! Funky stuff. The vocal clip is pretty awesome too.

I've never really listened to a whole lot of minimal, but this track was pretty damn cool. Maybe i should check out some tracks in that genre.

I really like the way you brought everything in. It was original and unpredictable. The transitions are nice. I like the bass-line. Interesting blend on the voice.

I'm not sure about when you make the wood-block voice that's doubling with the bass louder. There's something that holds me back from knowing exactly how to groove to it. I'm wondering if it's got too much release on it. Somehow that same rhythm and melody works for the bass-line but for me personally not so much for the wood-block sound.

Now it could be that I'm just out of genre. The whole thing has experimental aspects to it so perhaps it's something that fits but I'm just not accustomed to it.

Overall I think it's a cool song. I like the tone on your lead particularly.

I'd love it if you could tell me what you think about my song Eve of the Invasion.

Thanks very much, Agent Starchild

ok...dont see how this is minimal........

percs sound disconnectd with the rest of the elements

synth that comes in around 1:50...sounds thin, not that interesting

vox sample = lol...what is that.....zoolander? lol

i duno...groove sounds ok...but not really my style...

i think it's a good start, but too boring...
