I find my self constantly disappointed with the music scene here and always traveling to LA, Vegas, and Baja.

as beautiful as the city is, the night life sure does suck (outside of sdsu parties). it will definitely be an improvement from south texas though

Dude speak for yourself.
I love it when people who don't live here tell everybody how much it sucks in San Diego.
Go down to Mission Blvd or the Gaslamp and tell everybody having a blast how much it sucks here.
btw you can leave your summer parka at home too. Not needed here.

i've lived here for a few years and don't rate san diego at all in terms of nightlife. downtown is snobby, pb is a meat market.
sd must be better than texas though.

yeah, i lived there for one year (late '99-late '00). i love the weather and found myself hitting the massives(jujubeats, how sweet, audiotistics...etc) around los angeles. i was a few years too young to get in the clubs, but all that has changed now....plus i've been djing since back in the day also.
I think i'm moving back to San Diego...
