Anyone know how to get the sound of the crowd into your set and at the same time get a crisp recording? For example, the new Gatecrasher NEC tiesto set or the 2002 rosenmontags rave sets , etc...

That’s the one. The way to get a crisp sound recording and crowd noise is to record the output from the DJ Mixer and mix it with the crowd noise from the microphone. Be careful not to get it near any speakers. That is unless of course your really into screeching feedback

right in front of a speaker. ....no really...
actually, away from the speakers.
feedback hurts the ears.
