Downloading. I have very high expectations, considering there's some wicked tunes in the mix. I'll review it as soon as it's finished transfering.
Update #1: Seems like 'In My Mind' ran out on you. You should have mixed it so that the main riff from 'El Viendo' kicks in right as the main riff from 'In My Mind' breaks down. Also, the beats seem to be drifting somewhat. One thing about that all-crucial first mix in a set - if it isn't absolutely flawless, stop and restart the recording. The first mix is the point at which many listeners decide if they want to continue listening ... and if it isn't dead-on then they won't give the rest of your set a chance.
Update #2: Same thing with 'El Viendo' to 'Angel of Death'. You should have started the mix after the "i am the angel of death" sample. The whole set loses a lot of drive every time you let the track play into the kickdrum-only part.
Update #3: I really like the way you blended those rolling hi-hats from 'Energetic Rhythem'. But unfortunately your tracks again start drifting apart and the follow-up track can't really keep up the energy you built up with the heavy driving Hennes & Cold kickdrum from 'Angel of Death' - among other reasons because your levels seem to be WAY too low on 'Energetic Rhythm'
Update #4: 'Energetic Rhythm' to 'Beams of Gaia' ... very VERY sudden mix, kickdrum slightly off, and levels seem to be WAY too low once again. There is no punch whatsoever in the kickdrums, it almost sounds like you forgot to turn up the bass EQ. I don't think these two tracks go together very well.
Update #5: This is getting a little better, 'Beams of Gaia' is blended nicely into 'Voyager' and the mix is held for a decent amount of time. At one point while mixing out it seems like you accidentally turned up 'Gaia' a little. Also the kickdrum from 'Voyager is brought in a little too sudden - don't be afraid to let your tracks play together for a while. You should have left the synth line from 'Gaia' play 4 more beats.
Update #6: 'Voyager' to 'Retribution' ... beats are quite off, you have to be careful when you have two very emphasized kickdrums like in those two tracks, because there is no other musical elements (ie. bassline etc) to hide your errors. Just a little nudge or spindle squeeze would have fixed the problem. Once again, you should have mixed 16 bars earlier ... try to avoid having only the percussion elements of a track playing.
Update #7: 'Retribution' to 'Silence' ... hmm first of all, why would you play 'Silence' in a hardtrance set !? Other than that, nicely mixed through the breakdown in 'Silence'. Kickdrums seem to be drifting slightly towards the end of the mix but nothing show-stopping.
