Has 120 5HTP capsules for $19US, and 250 Vitamin C capsules for $13US, so $36 US all up, which is damned good value

Vitamin C is pretty much useless in supplement form.

There's some theory that if vitamin c isn't in its natural form, i.e, in an orange and you're just taking vitamin c tablets it doesn't have the same effects.

I think the argument is that most vitamin c supplements are too quickly digested, which results in poor absorption. In other words, your body gets too much, too fast, and just pisses most of it out. This is why buffered supplements were invented, because your body absorbs the nutrients over4-8 hours rather than 20 minutes.
