Be Cool! Recording a mix at a gig

I generally use a minidisc player to record my mixes when i'm at a gig, but the ones that I've seen generally have a 90-minute limit. What do you guys use to record your longer mixes (4+ hours)? I'm trying to avoid having to bring a laptop to record on.

I use my laptop. Since I'm mixing with Serato, I might as well take advantage and record directly into my laptop. :-D

The ikey is not bad, but it's kinda cheap and the interface isn't fantastic.

If you can spend a few more bucks, look at the M-Audio microtrack as well. Under $300 if you find the right place:

Nope! I'm on a Mac. I use Audio Hijack to record. The cool thing about it is that it saves as it's recording. So if my Mac crashes, my recording will be saved up until the crash.

sweet cause im using a macbook, audio hijack you recommend eh?
It's only happened once where serato has crashed, but the music continued playing so i mixed into a proper vinyl track and rebooted, it was seamless.
