EDC was incredibly amazing this year!!! I started the night out by heading down to Oakenfold at the main stage in the coliseum. Though he dropped some good tracks he had a lot of train wrecks . Over time it's gone from 1 or 2 to 5 or more, and it's just not acceptable anymore. Anyway, Deep Dishes set was by far one of my favorites of the night. They opened with "Say Hello", and it leaded into "Proper Education". The vibe of the night was fucking incredible. Out of nowhere they dropped "Float Away" by Robbie Rivera, I wasn't expecting that at all! It's one of my favorite tracks and made my night. Sharam dropped his own songs, "Be The Change" (which was fucking amazing!!!) and "The One". If any of you guys were at EDC and know what song was mixed into "The One" please let me know!! It went something like ...."some kinda girl and some kinda guy...give it to me, give it away...but you were the one....if you're not the one i don't know who is". Also, they dropped a sick song with motley crues "home sweet home"'s piano solo in it, it was amazing!!! Anyway I have to say that whoever was there when Deep Dish closed their set with "PARTY ALL THE TIME" you know it was amazing! The coliseum went, in under a minute, from being able to walk around to not having any room at all to move during this track! Not only is P.A.T.T. a fucking great song but the mix they played of it was fucking ridiculous (if anyone can ID it let me know!!) Whoever missed it, I'm sorry it was incredible...and did anyone else notice the full moon? Gorgeous! Let's see...to my surprise I really ended up liking Hernan Cattaneo's set, it was really good. Everything after 2am is a complete blur but Kaskade's set was good and Cedric Gervais dropped the classic "Spirit in my life" and fatboy slims "star 69". Above & Beyond was amazing, I wouldnt've rather listed to anything else for the closing!!! They dropped "Home", "Can't sleep", "Air for Life", "World on Fire" and "Satellite". Also, somewhere in there though I can't remember what set, I'm glad they played Gabriel & Dresdens "Dangerous Power" and of course the classic "Heaven Scent" by Sasha and John Digweed!!! All in all, EDC was amazing and I can't wait until Monster Massive!! Part of the lineup for MM '07 consists of MARKUS SCHULZ, AXWELL, STEVE ANGELLO, FELIX DA HOUSECAT, ARMIN VAN BUUREN AND JUDGE JULES! SO EXCITED!!
