confuzzled and crazy? sounds like northeastern in a nutshell.
what was the job for? |
well, this interview was to get into the school... and i sucked at the interview
i didn't get in. however, i really do think it was a blessing in disguise too, because back then in 2003, it was about 30,000 - 32,000$ tuition a year. who knows what it is now?! i admit, i still admire northeastern but when i think about it, we saved a lot of money with me not attending that school!

I went for a job at an airport once and got interviewed by two guys interrogation style. One of them was being passive, asking just a few basic questions and taking notes, while the other one was being aggressive, asking trick questions and lots of detail. |
trick questions... those interviewers act like they've never been interviewed before. i'm sorry, but i would make people feel relaxed when i interview them. i know it's a part of the business process to interview people with asking certain questions, but seriously...

i have learned in smaller companies, there will be smaller # of interviewers(2-3), but bigger institutions/companies, they will have 3-5 interviewers. usually for the bigger places, out of all the interviewers, there would be an HR, division/group manager, sectional manager/president, and if you're lucky, the head honcho.
but it is not true that if you've been interviewed by 1 person, then it's a failure. in the past, i have been interviewed by 1 person and 1 interview and i got the job.
