Whether he absolutely needs it or not is irrelevant. What is important is that he wants it.
So he has it! I personaly think that working in a big studio equipped with with all the stuff you ever wanted is great

only thing I pointed out is that with his money and quite a happy life (I wish him at least) it's not that hard to look friendly, happy, positive or whatever you describe him...

True. I think you are right! It's way easier to be happy if you have made it big...
But I think it is also a matter of personality.
