Mastering/Mixdown gear advice

Hey all,

I'm looking at purchasing the following gear to use for mixdowns/mastering:

Focusrite Platinum Compounder
Aphex 204 Aural Exciter
SPL Kultube
SPL Tube Vitalizer Mk2-T

Anyone have any experience with these units?

I'm trying to decide if the 204 or the SPL Tube Vitalizer (model 9739)would be better (I'd imagine the SPL would be the better of the two being 3 times the price

The focusrite compounder would be used on kick samples, snares, claps etc.. and/or kick/bass bus for compression and possible bass enhancement.

I generally mix in the box and send out 8 sub-groups to an analog desk, which I would then look at sending the mix output via the Kultube and Vitalize Mk2-T.

Then to finalize the master once this mixdown is back in the box run it through the PoCo MD3 for a touch of eq/stereo correction/limiting.
