Are there any programs that can record directly into mp3 at a high bitrate?

I used total recorder, it was really good but has a 40sec time limit for recording. blah! I currently used Acid pro, but it records into wav, which is way too big.

is there a lightweight prog that can record straight to 192kbps full stereo. soundforge is too big, recording to wav then encoding is too big
i tried goldwave but i cant make it record Straight to mp3

total recorder is the way to go, just get a cracked version and dl the Lame dll. there's a link on the total recorder for the dll's that convert directly to mp3

yea, i got total recorder a week ago and i encode to 192 kbps full stereo with lame encoder
this is the way to go
