Whats the best inbuilt VST to apply this effect in Cubase...

I want to bring in a new lead using the fade in effect (example below) using a plugin with cubase (it must have something to do this?)

Example (Tune: Subrunner by Kimito Lopez)http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~wih...n%20example.mp3

Ive got the lead in .wav format so just need to apply the plugin, I've tried the EQ, Multiband compressor and several others with some automation but I cant find something that can bring all the levels up at the same time for the sound to get louder as well as "open up" tp a climax.

Any ideas?

Thanks

If you think I'm just asking about how to fade a sound in im not, listen to the example, it gets louder but the lead also sounds more complex as it fades in.

All that's happening in that sound is the cutoff opening on a low pass filter lol.

ninja is right. nothing special going on there except the individual character of the synth and filters.

I found the Tonic Filter Plug ideal for this.

ya turn mix all the way up in tonic, use 24db filter, maybe alittle res, and you got it!
