best shoes for dancing/clubbing in Europe?

I'll be in Europe for a whole month this summer and I was shopping around for some good comfortable dress shoes. I need something comfortable to walk around in yet dressy enough for the nice clubs. What's in style at the moment over in the UK, Holland, and Germany? Over here the stlye for ravers is bright Puma and Adidas shoes.

What about in the UK (ie. Godskitchen)? I always see stuff like "dress smart, no trainers." Is that the same as runners because I hate dancing in semi-formal dress shoes or the like?

Get Swear shoes. There are Swear stores in most of the big central European countries. (www.swear-shoes.com is their site)

I've seen some people with these piece of garbage in their feet, I always wanted to bash their heads in the wall. Now I know where they come from... sorry but these are just horrible... so ugly.

Dude get any black semi-formal but light shoes, stay away from the shiny ones if you don't like them. They must be as comfy as runners.

It depends...
i guess if it's a nice club, some good dress shoes.
If it's just some rave or anything like that, prolly sport shoes, or just the stuff you usually wear.

I was on that swear-shoes.com. Most of those are horrible and way to expensive.

It all depends on the club mate.

In some clubs, they want shoes, in others (ie Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Slinky etc etc) they couldn't give a shit.

Look at the pics of some of the 'candyraver' UKTA's, they go out of their way to look like children. But some clubs wouldn't allow that.

If you are going to Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Slinky, etc, wear what the hell you want; they don't care. Almost anything goes in those places. Other places that aren't trance clubs will frown on it though.

It's the same in Europe like it is everywhere. Every country has places where you need shoes, and some where you can wear anything. If you want to be safe get something smart but comfortable, then you shouldn't have any problems anywhere.

Well, I don't live in the UK, nor have I ever been clubbing there, but I do know what I love to wear in clubs in the US, and I know what is comfy to dance in!

Doc Martens are the most comfortable. The Air soles are the best thing created. They look very nice and are good to dance in. There isn't a club in the world that will turn away some Docs. They are classy as hell. They a little expensive (between $95-$180) But worth it!

For trance clubbing I wear my bouncy Nike SHox trainers. They are comfortable, convientient (they are the zip ups) help u jump up and down, with the springs, AND are trendy and have image!

But for places that need shoes, I wear either my Gucci loafers, or Louis Vuitton slip ons. Yes I am a fashion victim!
