I read somewhere that they had to disqualify a few ppl for cheating and stuff like that.

Didn't realize it was CL & DJ Dan.


Makes me wonder if they cheated last year to get into the top 10.

"According to DJ mag a few dj's have been caught cheating for the dj mag top 100 2007.

The organisers decided to manually check the votes this year. A huge amount of votes were coming from the same IP adress on the same day. This was odd, so they checked it and apparently they where using the same marketing manager who used some kind of script. Both DJs claim they did not know anything about this, but both are excluded out of this years list.
They fired this guy and sued him.

Kinda odd as both ended up quite high last year."

basically they were getting votes from there pr managers fromt he same ip addresses both CL and DJ dan have the same manager but they denied everything. its been going on for a couple of years now

Maybe Dan and Christopher aren't even aware of this and this is only a "manager thing". I'm not saying it is, I'm just saying it's possible since it's the same manager.

There's a reason they invested money in these PR firms. PR firms are sketchy corporate cut-throat bastards, I'm sure they were aware of the methods the PR firm used before they handed over the moolah.
