Tape onto computer ?

Tape cassette onto computer ? If i can do this then i will be able to get a few live sets of DJs up and running. Help me please.

phono-->jack cable... phono (black/white, Black/red) in yur stereo, hook it up to yur in line/mic in, in yur computer... and get cooledit, soundforge or another rec software, and just record...
be sure to set the right options...
