The Scene here in NYC

Some people may complain, but we are without a doubt one of the most spoiled cities when it comes to having the worlds top talent (that includes the up and comers as well as many great local dj's) playing here week in and week out.

I really don't think you believe that Jason...I don't give a fuck about the so called "top talent" 'cos they've got to the top wit "no talent"...
Compared to most of the major cities in the world the "top talent" that passes through New York is extremely rare....
Corenyc and massivenyc hit the nail on the head by exposing NYC to true talent such as Dave Seaman and Simon Patterson whilst Pacha continue to flog dead horses with their total lack of drive and innovation feeding off the back of the one and only true Pacha in Ibiza....
However,,the up and coming Dj's in this city are far better than anything that I have ever heard in 20+ years of clubbing..Tae Seol is without doubt the best and most skilled guy that I have ever heard in my entire life,,whilst Chris Luzz has probably got the best ear for a tune on this planet...That guy can spot an anthem from a mile away and he'll stop playing it before other guys have even got it in their hands.....The list continues with Zack and Keryn,,Hai Lee Chen and the one and only Frank Chiarello and so on...
And then of course we have people like yourself that have moved on to the next level and our very own Victor Dinaire....

To some extent I do believe we are spoiled but we don't know it..The
true talent is right there before our eyes,,but many of us just aint seen it yet...Hopefully we will...

You can't enjoy those dj's because the crowds in this city royally suck... I have more fun staying in and chilling with friends on any given night than paying money to go out and hang with the trash that the clubs in the city attracts...

Yeah, it's definitely more about the crowd than the music. I don't think I ever have or will complain about the live music in NY.

Even if there was a monthly S&D residency again, it would be tainted by the crowd that NY clubs draw these days. I wonder, even if it was in a Love-style atmosphere, would the B&T crowd invade? Not that there weren't plenty of B&T at Twilo... though they were different somehow. I think they were more interested in the music than their blowouts or eyebrows.

Maybe it's because I was younger and more interested in my glowsticks than the people around me. I dunno.
