So today was exactly one year from when i graduated college and entered the Air Force. i knew this was coming up, so I made a musical rendition of how i think the past year has gone.

so yeah , here goes nothing:



Far Above the Clouds [Jam & Spoon Mix] - I choose this track as an opener because it reminded me of when I left Iowa....picking up all my things, and driving off.

2Morrow - With family issues looming overhead, the beginning of my first year definitely had a downer for a start with a lot of emotions. This track is nothing short of that same feeling.

Cre8 [Original Mix] - Getting down to my first assignment in Alabama, I was pretty enthusiastic about what I was taking on...finally realizing what I was doing, and really having a positive outlook on life.

Never Be The Same Again [Markus Schultz Coldharbour Remix] - The first things you ever do in any situation are always lasting ones...I know that everything I did and accomplished while at Maxwell has changed me, most likely for the better, and because of it, I was able to move on and takle the next big thing.

Small Step On The Other Side [Original Mix] - I still remember the drive to my first real assignment in Louisiana...the moment I crossed the border, it started thunderstorming....to the point where I had to pull off the road because I couldn't see....it made me realize that I was really here...I was really doing this, and Life was just beginning for me.

Simply Blue [Armin Van Buuren Edit] - The first month on the job was a very humbling experience....teaching me that I didn't know what I was doing, regardless of how much knowledge I thought I had. Put a lot of things in perspective for me.

Cloud Buster - The following three months I spent in Biloxi....still horribly traumatized by Hurricane Katrina. It was a depressing three months, with very little times that I felt good about anything. An experience that could have been much better if it were anywhere else....but to see all the death and destruction day in and day out can really take a toll on people.

Ancient Space [Fred Baker Remix] - An extension of being in such a dark and gloomy environment. Granted some things were back to normal, a lot of people's lives were still far, far from it.

Untitled Audio [Nitrous Oxide Mix] - One thing that did make the whole experience worthwhile was one crazy weekend in New Orleans. Despite the majority of the city still abandoned, the French Quarte was still up and running strong. It was my first time in the "Big Easy", and it was a pretty crazy memory.

Perfect Silence [E-Craig's 212 Vocal Mix] - Leaving Keesler and heading back up to Barksdale, and my new home for the next 3 years or so. I was buying my first house, and getting ready to get back into the swing of things. Things were perfect.

Dreaming [Lucid's 12" Mix] - Life on a daily basis is going good. And sometimes it seems to be almost too good to be true.

Living the Dream [Matthew Dekay Vocal Remix] - Living it up in Louisiana....Mardi Gras style. My second time to New Orleans...way more crazy than the first. Soaking in the local culture.

10 Seconds Before Sunrise - A great building for what's to come....looking forward to my next adventures, trips, and experiences.

Palma Solane [Album Version]- A great ending to my first year out of college and living in the real world. Overall, things are going pretty good, and I almost couldn't ask for anything more. Utter satisfaction, and things look to only get better in the near future. Its been a crazy year...thousands of miles on the road, moving from place to place, and finally getting settled into my own place and starting my career. I can only hope the next year is just as wild.
