NES: Adventure Island series, TMNT (esp. arcade), Battletoads, Captain Skyhawk, Bubble Bobble, Burgertime, Bases Loaded 4, Ice Hockey, Jordan vs. Bird, Double Dragon (idk which ones), Techmo Bowl, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, Duck Tales, Excitebike, Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, Ninja Gaiden, Rampage, Challenge Pebble Beach...wish I could remember more :/

The Donkey Kong Country games, definitely. I still play them every so often and they've really not lost anything over the years. I also remember being quite fond of Toejam & Earl on the Mega Drive.
