need help with conversion

For my research project I need a little help with converting mL to mg?
How many mL does it take to = 80mg, 60mg and 40mg
On my supply bottle is states 30mL - 50mg/mL....

50 mg / 1 mL

80 mg / 1.6 mL

60 mg / 1.2 mL

40 mg / 0.8 mL

if memory serves me right, it depends on the density of the liquid since litre is based on volume

one of the only times when the measure is numerically equal is with water where 1 ml = 1 gram

but im most likely quite wrong

you can't compare, LKD is on the right track...

mg is a unit of measurement for weight

ml is a unit of measurement for volume

totally different

But the metric system was based on the equivalent of 1ml of water equalling 1g of water. So 1ml = 1g of water. 1ml of honey being much heavier, will result in more than 1 gram of weight.

so what I see is that...
you have a total of 30 millilitres of total product,
50milligrams of ingredient per 1 millilitre of volume,
so therefore a total 600 milligrams of ingredient in your 30 milligrams of product.

there were 2 easy methods (that i found) in under 30 seconds for solving that but i post now several minutes later wondering what made u post on a message board implying that it was so hard for u
