Finally took the time to do a proper electro mix. No electro-house or other trendy variants in there. Start up slow with some slow mellow tunes and goes a bit faster and darker. Lots of all time favorite tracks are in there, that's what make it special to me . This one took quite a bit of preparation as the tracks are diverse. Hope there's a few surprises
01. Johannes Heil - New Revelations
02. Anthony Rother - Biomechanik
03. Oxia - Different Way
04. Mikkel Metal - Sofa
05. E.R.P. - Magna
06. Vector Lovers - Futures In Plastic (Claro Intelecto Remix)
07. Deaf Center - Stone Beacon
08. Esoterik - Kwaidan
09. B12 - Soundtrack Of Space
10. E.R.P. - Aurelia
11. Future Beat Alliance - Raining In My Head
12. Matt Chester - Ice Bound
13. Sem - Area 5
14. Transmission 09 - Discolor
15. Claro Intelecto - section (Part 2)
16. Dynarec - Caged Train
17. 808 State - Lungfoo
18. Silicon Scally - Deep Dissolve
19. Crel - Destroy
20. The Hacker - Lost Frequencies
21. Drexciya - Birth Of New Life

Hey bubbblegum haven't seen you post a mix in a while now. I love your techno sets. I hope this electro mix doesn't disappoint.

Thank goodness. Some people here, especially in MD, abuse the word to the point where it gets a bad rap and electro is actually a pretty beautiful genre.

For those looking to know what electro is all about, listen to this set and learn what real electro music sounds like. The only downside 'may be' the track selection. I say 'may be' because the track selection doesn't have that touch of universal appeal. If you're trying to attract everybody especially the newbs then I would not recommend this set to them. If anything it would probably turn them away from the genre and reinforce any negative thoughts they had about the genre to begin with. But if you meant to educate/entertain people who have some sort of knowledge or appreciation for the genre and want to know more about what electro truly represents, then I'd definitely recommend this set to them. Personally I find your techno sets more entertaining, but don't let that stop you from making more of these sets.
The mixing is great for the most part. There was a bit of a beatmatching issue around the 12 minute mark and the transition felt uneasy and a little forced around the 15 minute mark. Other than that, A+ for you!

Thnak for your feeback stevie; much appreciated!
I think the music has some universal appeal even if it won't be the cup of tea of everyone I suppose. I must say I didn't ever think once of the newbs when recording it . And you're right this set is intended for people who want to listen to some electro that digs a bit deeper than trendy dancefloor derivatives (it has its use too).
