I just got my new mac pro. What are yall using to format your songs that are downloaded. I keep hearing that I-Tunes really sucks. So i am courious on what yall are using instead of I-Tunes.

what do you mean by 'format'?

what does this question have to do with the Mac Pro specifically? Thus seems like more of a Mac OS X question.

even if it got bashed alot i still think mp3 (at bitrates up from 192kb) is a good format. go for it.

if you want to keep it high quality use a losless format like ape.

itunes is ok... anyway the whole program is just overloaded with functions i usualy dont need.

anyway i dont know any other media player for mac... not sure if there has been ever good software for mac instead of the os :P

If you're encoding MP3 files... Install the LAME MP3 encoder. It's a 3rd party kick ass plug-in that will load in iTunes.

check the website, it's dope.
