About time already- Daft Punk Appreciation Threrad
Ok its about time some one made this thread. Arguably, not for me, the grates heroes of dance music definitely deserve a thread, sorry if i missed one. My gift to this thread is this video I found on Youtube today...f-ing unbelievable.
unfortunately Guy-man was cut out of the picture, But you can see clearly that thomas bangalter makes jz looks like a ant.
Thomas Bangalter once explained, "We did not choose to become robots. There was an accident in our studio. We were working on our sampler, and at exactly 9:09 a.m. on September 9, 1999, it exploded. When we regained consciousness, we discovered that we had become robots."[6]
I will see them live! and it will rule my universe!
I saw their gap commercial the other day. cool shit

Ahhh the Live @ Even Further video. Yeah Thomas is rockin' it. You do check glimpses every now and then of Guy-Manuel doin' his thing but the camara 99% of the time is transfixed on Thomas.

If you're wondering what his setup was there, here's a qoute from Thomas "The Universal Audio 2192 interfaces, a ProTools HD1 standard, and an old Mackie 1202 (first generation ever produced - pre-VLZ). Plus a few old FX units and synth. But I tend to minimalize my setup, and Live helped me do it."
^Ed Bangers introduction is pretty cool as well.
Here's another Bangalter video although audio isn't so good: ED BANGER
