I saw this live & was quite shocked. I thought at first he'd just swallowed his tongue, as Drago was right on scene & seemed to be doing that, but to have 2 heart attacks at the a ge of 22 is shocking. I actually saw the marc vivien foe one live and was absolutely shocked, but it turned out he had the same defect, common in black african men, that also was had by fadiga and kanu who both were lucky enough to get surgery. He is a hugely talented footballer, and I hope to see him sorted out and back in a football shirt soon.

Sorry to say that Antonio has died this afternoon From all accounts he suffered multiple organ failure and brain damage after the 2nd heart attack which seemingly was massive. He leaves a girlfriend about to give birth in the next month to their first child.

Me thinks he probably has a heart condition he doesnt even know off.

he has twice fainted in the last year, according to guillem balague who does the spanish news for us on sky & writes in marca. But guillem said that he'd been into hospital for tests and nothing was shown up in rigorous tests. I'm just gutted, these are the guys we spend our money on to watch play, and someone at 22, in way better shape you'd think than any of us who don't train to those levels, is just shocking. He had great potential, especially at leftback for Spain and fuck. it's shocking. Hopefully there'll be a great tribute for the next round of la liga games, it's hit the whole of spanish football hard.

I actually have a buddy of mine died last year with the same condition.Heart attack after triathlon and died after he finished his race. HE WAS FIT AS FUCK. His timing for a mile and a half was a constant 8 mins.

Sometimes I feel scared when I push myself too hard while playing footy.
