Considering they are $1300 generally, you're getting a good price. Especially if it's new and sealed in the original box. And super especially if it comes with a dildo that can recite the alphabet... backwards.

That is actually significantly below the price that most dealers buy it from distributors for. Make absolutely sure it's not a scam...but if it's not, congratulations on finding a ridiculous deal.

$1000 out the door is cheap. If you can find it that cheap for a new one you've found great deal..... When I went to buy mine the cheapest I could haggle the price down to was $1150. But there was a tradeoff for buying from certain places. The places that did it for $1150 often charged sales tax and/or shipping. The places that would do it for $1300ish would give you free shipping and no sales tax. In the end you're going to get bitten by either: higher price, sale tax, shipping, and/or a combination of these. I think around $1200-$1300 is what most are paying for new ones.

I don't know.. I looked around for quite some time until I found two CDJ 1000 MK3's + DJM 600 all in a road ready case with cables for 2500$. Only used for about 3 months so in great condition. Just a matter of how long you can stand to wait for a good deal, but if you have can stand to wait, the good deals are out there.

Is it new? If it is then is it from an authorized dealer? I'd rather pay a bit more for the warranty.

i actually ended up paying 1070 plus tax... I ended up purchasing a 2 year extended warranty with it as well. total 1300.
Guitar Center is great specially when it comes to there sales.
Dan the sales guy said that my usual guy had moved and that he will hook me up with whatever he could. I think he did. They had it on sale for 1200, then he said best he could do is 1100 plus tax. Then he came back after talking with his manager since my girl and I were waiting there for quit a while and he knocked it down to 1070, plus tax. Since this is CA, I was like, thats a deal! I still feel like i won some of the lottery.
So now I add to my djm-800 and my 2 technics mkii a nice little pio mkiii.
I was asking about the denon s5000 and he said that they didnt have anymore do to it being on clearance. They will not be getting anymore either. Hmm the mkiii feels light and not heavy. Thought it would be heavier but i guess not, hopefully it doesnt crap out like ive read on other forums...
happy mixing everyone... oh yea, i had to drive a bit since the only store that had a new one was another city away... it was worth it.
