For Portuguese speakers like LIRA and noikeeeeee

I possibly will be in Portugual in 4-5 weeks time. I speak some spanish, english, german & french but fear none of it will help me if I go th ere. Any chance of the basics to help with greeting, buying stuff in a shop or ordering at a restaurant please

They're our bi-annual enemies since we seem to lose to them each major football tournament these days, but they have nice beaches

And i am aware there's a portuguese section here, but most of the names there I don't recognise & don't know if they speak enough english to help, whereas I know lira/noikee and theo dd other member will.

edit: there is a good chance you will have a hard time, even I, sometimes, don't understand the portuguese. They speak too fast and don't open their mouth as us brazilians.
