omg, I'm just getting home from seeing Digweed at Avalon and it's 8 a.m. He came on around 1:15 a.m. and played until 7:30 a.m. or so...a 6+ hour set!!!!!!!!!!
Early on in his set, I was thinking that I liked him better last time at Vanguard, but about halfway through, Digweed just blew me away! Only bad part was that I forgot the bar sprays "cranberry juice" from the spigot and it tastes worse than kerosene. So I wound up drinking beer instead, but got my first one free since I almost spit out the Absolut cranberry, it tasted so bad!
Great to see so many TA's there, even though a lot went to Vegas for the weekend. Thanks for the wristband orders, we definitely have enough to get them for less than 2 bucks each now! Pics to come after I get some sleep...

he owned me so bad I went to the hospital..
i'm ok.

yeah he played an amazing set. too bad i left around 4:30 just as he was really starting to pick it up. met some cool people though, and ran into clovis a couple of times.
i really don't like avalon though, too hot, too crowded, waaaaayyyyy too many washing machines. otherwise it was an awesome night. anyone know what tracks he played? out of his whole set i could only recognize like 3 or 4.

Yeah epic set. I left at around 5:30 because I had to be at work today
By far the best set I've heard from Digweed. Ever. Relentless tracks. I was kinda bummed because the for the first two hours or so Clovis and I were spotting almost all his tracks (that's not supposed to happen with Diggers ). But it seems like just when my friend said he was going to play till 9 (which would have been way more epic) Digweed brought out the big guns. I didn't know a single one.
Anyone remember that one with the hhuuuuuuge break down with the chanting girl and some sort of middle eastern drum/beat thing
The set was easily 11/10...easily...the club however....ehhh 7/10. Too hot and too many fucked up sweaty people bumping into me. Including one guy that constantly kept pushing me around and telling me to 'calm down'

Holy shit that was spectacular. I chose a very good night to come out. Probably one of the best experiences I've had at Avalon.
Those were some MASSIVE buildups he was throwing, I've never heard anything like it before.
He is, by far, my #1 DJ as of last night.
I didn't know a single track, so if people can put up a TL?

I died when around 3ish when he dropped C.O.M.A - Monday ... over all it was a fantastic night. Though, like mentioned above, inside was too freaking hot and packed like a meat factory. Seriously, when will people learn you can't pick up chicks on dance floor at events like this !!
On funny thing I saw that cracked me up was when I passed by one of the dancer on left side. She was surrounded by these asian men -- thats right, men not some 20 something year olds, and two of em were trying to tip her with dollar bills "Umm, the strip club is a few blocks down buddy" couldn't help but to laugh

It was so funny he was dancing around no problem and kept bumping into Bunny. We figured do whatever, have fun he's not hurting anyone but let me stand next to him so he doesn't bump her. Anyway he started to bump into me pretty hard, I almost fell over a few times. Then he taps me on the shoulder and says, "hey calm down man!"
Tracks Digweed played (Clovis will get what I missed )
UNKLE - Burn My Shadow (I say it was the Audiofly mix and Clovis says Original)
Tiger Stripes - Hooked
Solomun - Jungle River Cruise
Riley Reinhold - Lights In My Eyes (Dominik Eulberg Mix)
Slam - Azure <- totally revived the track for me, sounded awesome at Avalon
C.O.M.A. - Monday or Coma1 <-whatever it's called, new Sasha/May track
Underworld - Crocodile
Manul Tur, Dplay - Conchord <-probably wrong
Marc Antona - One More Sugar
Simon Baker - Confused (David K Mix)
All I can remember right now

Digweed rocked my world last night. He is the master of suspense. Bailed around 4:30 because we were dead freakin' tired. Perfect mixing, programming was great, every track he introduced was a crescendo into another track. vFew DJs can do that. Phenomenal night.
