Angry Problems with Traktor...

Heya!
I'm having this sort of wicked problem with traktor dj studio..
It just lags when i'm trying ot mix music,u know it stops for a moment and continues..
Strange thing,if i record it records the song alright, with no bumps or anything, but it can really get on someone's nerves!
And i'm using an Athlon Xp 1600+ with 256 DDR Ram,so it can't really be a problem in that, can be?
Advice anyone?
Thankful as always!

it did it with me.......it always stopped for a few seconds right after I clicked load next track......it lagged even more so if I dragged and dropped the next song in, instead of right clicking on the file, load
In the end I said screw traktor and went to mixvibes...(www.mixvibes.com) I find it is much better.
Hope this helps.

This used to happen to me....the best thing i found was to close all the progs in your sys tray and switch of your screen saver...might work
