search for "warping"

you have to warp all tracks in ableton before you can use them

this is so ableton knows where the downbeat falls and can match them up.

don't worry about pitchbending for now.... and once you warp properly you don't have to worry about beatmatching either.

once you learn how to use it, warping is very easy with trance

ive been learning how to incorporate ableton perfectly into my sets, so far it doesnt work too well because im finding the warping on the fly thing just a little challenging

I don't know anyone that warps on the fly- I've certainly never heard of it. You have to warp in advance and save the warp markers

the 'best' or 'official' way to warp is to warp in advanced - And what i like to do personally is test if it all sounds on the beat by using the metrone (sp?) tone and making sure it sounds good.

After awhile you get so good at it that you don't even have to listen to know its warped..

Personally i recommend anaylzing all your music first. Right click your music folder in ableton and "analyze audio". And let it sit and work through all your music. Then go ahead and warp it all up and hit the 'save' button.

But really.. The first thing you should have done is read the manual, google around, etc etc.

USE THE DAMN SEARCH BUTTON!!

P.s - The videos that helped me the most were on the Ableton website (http://www.ableton.com/) And im going to let you find the video yourself.

The way i warp personally: I mark up the first beat, Then i mark the rest from back to front.. works better for me. Upto you though

Ok,I just wrapped 2 MP3 perfectely but when I play it together the BPM are ok but the synchronise between the beat is not ok.You understand what I mean?
One bass is before the other, if I have a vinyl I have just to brake one to synchronise the bass but here i don't know how to do?
