Can someone go on the forum and see what the status of better multi-core support is? I've been in and out of sequencers. I really want to buy FL, but only if they actually give it decent dual core support (FULL vst fx multi threading).

like i said in other forums... look at it like a business man:
users: mostly noobs and hip hop producers who never made it past 3rd grade
benefit of rewriting: small minority of advanced users would know the difference (obviously, since it has taken this long and most people aren't even aware of it...)
cost of rewriting: effectively going back to square one and starting over ($!)
it makes no sense for them to do it, especially when you consider that all their users will be getting the update for free (lifetime free updates). so, no, they don't HAVE to do anything.
my bet is they will just keep making more low quality plugns and dj tools that they can flog off.

from a business standpoint it is silly for them not to utilise a technology that is going to be the standard in the future. they will lose new clientele and thus lose any new funds (because as you said - everyone else is getting life time free updates).
