It's been a long time since my last mix here... But I come back in shape serving you the very best of melodic, epic and uplifting trance. Prepared something _special_ this time. A two hour mix with 51 (!) tracks in it. It is like 2:20 for a track. It was an experimental approach so I messed with layering and mash-uping. I'd be grateful for any feedback on this: what does for you and what clashes (when you're getting used to the sound you can't feel if it really works well). As for the music, you should be familiar with most of the tunes. Pure trance mainly from 2006 and 2005, not too many oldies. Kind of Armin's Year Mix I love going back to ASOT 182 or 200...

Due to blends and long transitions and taking into consideration that quite often three tracks are layered, I've came to conclusion that on average you can hear 2 tracks playing at the same time... and actual duration could be twice that long lol
If you like the idea of the megamix, you're strongly advised to take a look at Evelon's Megamix he's done recently. Truly top stuff.
listened a couple times and liked it man. some really great tracks. TONS of great tracks. I thought the flow in the first part of it was kind of lacking. the second time listening I did have to skip to about 20 min in because thats when the flow gets good. just didn't like the first 3 or 4 transitions. didn't seem to flow for me. after that the flow is good but, well, i'm pretty picky so, i thought it could have been better. it probably is a huge technical feat to pull of a megamix of this sort so i'm not knocking you much at all. i know what this mix was about. it was about lining up a ton of floor killers and sick tracks and it does it beautifully. personally though i find more value in a set with only 2 big tracks, but awesome flow.
hope that's not too harsh. . it's a great megamix that many will love for the quality tracks, i just wanted to see something a bit more groundbreaking for your newest entry as I know you have the skills to do so. anyway great job on a brilliant achievement of a megamix, keep up with the great work.
oh, and I suck at IDing tracks so I probably wont attempt at the tracklist. I would like to see one though. Didn't recocnize some killer tracks and would like to know.
Cheers.

I rarely heard any technical errors while listening to your mix. There were some transitions which are harmonically off key, but nothing too major. It all comes down to taste with this one. The tracks are somewhat numbing after having to listen to the same level of trance for 2 hours because there was very little build. Even though this is a megamix I still think build should be taken into consideration. Aside from that, this set could have used more variety. A great example is Isoterra’s 9 hour mix. It has a bit of everything from progressive to psychedelic to tech-trance which is why he was able to hold my attention for so long. To sum up, just rectify those 2 issues and as always thanks for this mix once again. I look forward to listening to your next ventures buddy!

I do agree with you guys (Steve and Jason ) on what you've said. But I wasn't trying to keep the flow and build throughout the mix. That is not a set! I enjoyed messing up with layering tracks, doing mashups and so on. I wonder if you would be able to count tracks up to 51 ;p
Anyway, thanks for listening and replying quick! Your opinion always means much to me.
wtf's going on, I received email notification but no new posts here. It happened twice already.
Do not delete your posts guys, I can take these critical opinions
eRRaTiK: hehe... you can hear one more track (layered on sunlounger, but it is very subtle), so Thomas Datt will be 03
Sweet mix, Im listening to it right now and it is very good. The transitions are great, but there are a few that could have improved slightly but the fact that its a two hour mix with 51 tracks makes it amazing that only a few trasnsitions are off. I love the set so far, keep up the great work, I cant wait for your next one.

i agree...normally a couple of off blends might spoil the mix but considering the sheer amount of trakcs you crammed in here i LOVE IT. me and my gf are dancing to it right now lol
