Actually I cannot stand minimal...It is my least favorite genre of house...Im just saying that when ever they hear any thing electronic that automatically assume that its trance...they dont stop to consider that there are various genres of EDM

Not at all...Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I dont think that i'm any less "educated" than you are because I dont enjoy listening to a particular style of music that you do. Hence why I posted Ignorance as the topic headline.

It's impossible, and not to mention pointless, to have detailed knowledge about every single genre of music out there; as you've just ever so ironically proven with that post. Even more so if that genre of music isn't even of great interest to you.

I don't know why people put such great emphasis on trying to label and define everything. Whatever happened to just liking 'good' music and disliking 'shit' music? Those are the only 2 genres that matter. Don't worry about it.

Minimal is not a genre of house, minimalism is a musical concept. Neither is house a genre itself but rather a sub-genre of electronic dance music. I thought you should know that by now.
