I watched that a few months ago. As with most everything else in this world, it does contain a few factual errors so you can't take it at 100% face value. It also contains a wealth of good information, though - so I'm not discounting it, either.

It is interesting to note that wikipedia does not have an article on this movie. The article was deleted !!! I wonder why.

Agreed, this movie is very old. And there are some inaccuracies, I didnt like it that much. The second half was better, and the end was brilliant ... I like the "Mad As Hell" clip, I liked them talking about how bad media and television is, that was my highlight moment ...

Very interesting doc..

I would not say Christianity in its most pure form is a means of control. John Wycliffe was one theologian and father of the protestant reformation to advocate separation of church and state.

I certainly don't take everything in the doc for what it is, but it is a mind-opener.

I watched this a while ago and don't completely remember it all. I think I might watch it again when I get some time.

I wasn't blown away by it but I definately think it's worth watching because it is thought provoking.

I agree. The Essenes were apparently a very benevolent bunch.

I don't want to sound like a peddler of Masonic literature, but I was reading something just recently that delved further into it which I found to be extremely interesting.
