i've been using my pioneer djm-600 for a while now, never had any problems, except for a minor one (well, i used to think it wasn't that big of a problem, but now with a louder sound system, it's really getting annoying)...anyway, it has to do with the effects on/off button: each time i press it, i hear a slight pop sound come out of the speakers. I know this has to do with static or some electrical issue like that (also, my fog machine does the same problem each time I press the fog button)...i used to think this had to do with a problem in the way I was setting up things or maybe something wrong with my specific mixer, but my friend's pioneer DJM-3000 also has the same issue...anyway to get around this pop/click sound each time the effects button is activated?

I have a 3000 myself, i have that clicky thingy too, i can't make it disappear, but it clicks harder or "softer" depending on what effect is on when i press the efx button (if it's set to flange the click is so quiet i almost can't hear it, and if it's on echo it click's reeeal hard). Only thing i found that helps is to make sure the efx knob is set to absolute zero (duhh), if it's even slightly, how do i say this.. above zero the click is three times louder..

That's all i know, but if someone has a quick fix for this i sure as hell like to know too.

oh are u talking about like turn the FX depth knob all the way low, press ON and then take the FX depth higher? ya, i've noticed that works, but i think thats a pretty ghetto way of doing it...i'm sure there has to be a better, more professional method out there...ANYBODY at all?

i don't have an 800, but i think i've heard people mentioning that same issue if i'm not mistaken

i think since u have a bigger and better soundsystem the 800 is more suitable.

I have the 3000, does the exact same thing. I chalk it up to old age. It is annoying though.

Mine too. I have a 3000 as well. DJMs are a joke, I wouldn't own one if I didn't get it cheap and broke, and fixed it for pocket change.

Only thing I like about the DJM3000 is the fader arrangement - very easy to remove the level fader boards and solder in linear faders... the control of rotary, the quick-in&out of sliders.

actually the xone:92's filters have a pop/click too when they're switched on!
i think it has something to do with changing the audio routing instantly when the audio is playing.

have you brought this up with A&H? their support people are usually pretty responsive...
