I just sold my 5000's about a month ago, i hated them, i have cdj 1000 mk3's now and they are unquestionably better considering that i learend on cdj 1000's.

i've been researching and it seems that alot of people says that dn-s5000 is the better one.
but where'd you buy it, since you and I live in the same city ? Online? and how much u buy it for

kk i'll take your advice it seems kind of pricey
how about if i get a combo of 800 and 1000?

played on both a couple times...1000 is the way to go...feels good in general, and i liked the layout, for some reason the 5000 i just didnt like it

Do a search because we've had plenty of discussions about 800 vs. 1000. If you want to get one of each you could but it wouldn't be very fen shui.
