The looks are enthralling and it really seems to be a new spin on the idea of TV viewing.
No kidding! This “transparent” TV really exists, and it’s from Sony. Look at the screen, it’s like floating…and the speakers, freaking awesome!

It's a cool concept (and a couple years old), but I doubt we'll see anything like this in the consumer market for many years, if ever. Damn sexy though.

It would be expensive as hell for it I'm sure, and also it's not a widescreen. Standard Ratio FTL.
It's a projector displaying and image on a piece of glass, you can do this at home just buy a big sheet of glass put a white matte screen on it a put the projector behind it. Not as impressive as a plasma or LCD tv.
