Chicane - Far From The Maddening Crowds (2007) (Modena)

Finally, this album is being released again, but it's sure to annoy some collectors.

Released on Monday 22nd October

Tracklisting is as original, but...

12. Offshore 2007

Sample:

Question: How do you digitally re-master an album that was (I'm assuming) recorded digitally originally?

That's a very good question, and I'd be interested to hear the difference. Hopefully it's not just a case of the volume being jacked up to a million decibels, as with a lot of releases nowadays.

In most cases, digitally mastered means it's been squashed to hell and back.

2007 version was unnecessary, I doubt you can ever beat the original Offshore
