First off i posted this thread here, because i know Swamper reads this section. Second, many TA's are from the ontario region, and Third, I think alot of us here would be interested in this
OK i've been noticing alot of Audio Galaxy links posted in the threads
and it's been hard to find good trance mp3 sites these days, with many closing down and cutting down on content, even RMF removed the MP3 content from their board
But there are obviously still people who are ripping vinyl, CD Singles, and recording livesets, so the music is still out there it's just that we have a harder time finding it
What if we here at Trance Addict start an AG link thread? where we can post AG links to new songs, and especially livesets..
I have no trouble contributing and would love to start this thread off.
What does everyone think?

basicly they said ( cant remember who) that it would not be hard to contribute to this because it is not your bandwith being used when u post a link
what this means that is that everyone will post so many links and it will be total chaos

That's definitely a great idea... i just wish there was a better prog to use other the AG... AG for awhile now is blocking more and more songs because of "copywrite protections" so it's harder to get all the songs that you want. We need a better prog. But i'll still go for it.

well, maybe instead of waiting for a better program, we csn think of a better naming scheme for our songs?
we could have some sort of TA naming scheme and have it posted here so that onlt TA's can get the songs they want without having them blocked
but ya know, itz time to get back to the roots .. FTP and IRC baby !

I also think this is a great idea
and it should just branch off the
tranceaddict forum so everyone can find it easily, so its not kept under another specific forum and under something else
quick and easy way of getting to it

Yeah, but there's even problems with ftps... finding a crack for that prog has been a bitch lately, and with Winmx.. can ppl with windows XP use that??

crack from which program ?? and i think WinMX supports XP .. u can add openNAP servers and any other sharing programs who's servers use the same protocols i believe ..
and there's always IRC ! old skool :]

using fserves or xdcc bots is a massive pain in the ass. It's old school for a reason. If it was a good way to do things more people would be using the mp3 channels on irc.
