In The Box..

Do you have a Tune that you you just found out you had or a tune that you knew you had but never really paid much attention too, but know that you spin it ,it simply kicks ass?

For me it is:StoneFace&Terminal-SuperNature(guiseppe ottaviani)mix

Monster Tune

There's a lot of stuff in my collection that I either haven't got around to ripping, or that I haven't tried out live due to not having the right mood, etc. I know there are some gems on the Hed Kandi CDs that I haven't ripped yet, and there are some discs that I have forgotten because of the sheer volume of CDs that I have. When I get some free time I go through an artist, say the Chemical Brothers, and rip all of the standout tracks from the albums & singles and compile them onto one CD.

There's a lot of Daft Punk material that I am not playing out, that I should be playing out, but with a time limit for a set it becomes very easy to forget about tracks, not have time to play the tracks, etc.

For a long time I didn't even really listen to the flipside of Amoeba Assassin - Rollercoaster, since I was so happy to have the Courtyard Mix (I dug it up for cheap at a bargain bin in Seattle).

Then I heard the Listen and Feel Live Mix on this mix compilation and realized what I'd been passing over. Madness!

I always enjoyed playing Digitribe 'India' (Sultan Remix) when it first appeared but never really saw it as much of a big tune, then last year when I played out in London it caught my attention in the CD wallet so I decided to play it, just seemed to click with me & sounded excellent
