Mp3 quality tool?

Some mp3's even at 320k don't sound as good or loud as other mp3's at a lower rate.

Is there a software that will tell you how good an MP3 is (in that sense) and if it's suitable to play at a club?

And yes I buy my songs

If you buy them they should be good enough quality, if you want to use a program it's called Ear 2.0 and it's costs an arm and a leg.

I swear this one track I bought the volume and quality is rather poor for 320k.

I guess GAIN is my best friend

If it sounds bad, it's the track, not the encoding... delete that POS and move on

some tracks are just a little rough around the edges

its not always gonna be perfectly polished vst music now is it? Grit can be an aesthetic choice...
