Hallo Trance addicts

i want to know if anyone can give me some tips to mix vocals in a dance track. Im talking Trance!
What kind of fx should I use and any general settings.
I've checked the tutorial out on tweakheads but it didnt go much into how to apply it in the mix, it covered more about recording.

oh and I know they say reverb but I seem to drown my vocals.
