EXS24 file format?

Does anyone happen to have the file specification for the EXS24 file format (.exs)? I've been looking for an utility that manages EXS24 files, but all I could find was "Redmatica EXS Manager" for OSX (I need one for PC). The background is that I have thousands of wave sampels that I need to make EXS24 instruments of and I don't want to edit/load them manually. So... I figured I'd write an utility for PC that does this automaticly. I think I can reverse engineer the file format roughly, but it would really help of someone had a description of it.

Cheers addicts

I was also looking for that since years, but no success... reverse engineering looks the fastest method...

Ok, I have now written the first version of the utility (see above) that simply loads wav files and creates exs files for them. It also recreats the folder structure from which the wav:s were loaded, this then becomes the menus in the the EXS24.

First out was a library of 2000 wav:s I have had om my HD for a long time that now are playable from the EXS24

I haven't reverse engineered all bytes of the exs file format, just enough to be able to create exs files (so far). If anyone's interested I'd be happy to share this little utility! I can also think of several features that could be added in the future like managing sample libraries.

Note: The program only applies to PC and is only tested for the EXS24 that comes with Logic ver 5.5.1, it's also an early alfa release 0.0.1

Cheers everyone
