i just recently fell in love with this thing.

however, i ran into a weird problem. i was about to load a new loop to slice up, and it went haywire. it sounded as if it had a buffer underrun. i undid what i loaded, and it stayed the same. i didn't save, as i had saved previously, closed ableton, reopened.

the problem remains. the data is still there, as i can see guru still has every step in its sequencer and engines. however, the playback is messed up. i uninstalled Guru, killed the registry keys and all, and a friend brought over his copy, which was a more recent version. installed, and when i opened it up, same problem.

anyone know what might be causing this? the thing won't even fucking play 4 kicks in proper timing.
